Abakus company

In the valley of the Narew River, near Białystok, lies a city that Jan Klemens Branicki once so loved. In his summer residence, he entertained guests from the entire Europe. After 200 years, the Europeans still willingly come here. The history of Choroszcz was influenced the most by the families of Chodkiewicz, Pac, Branicki and Moes.

In 2004, in this beautiful neighbourhood, in Choroszcz near Białystok, close to the international road no. 8, we erected a modern production hall, as well as an administrative and office complex having a total surface of 3,000 m².

In 2004, we realised an investment in modern technology – an automatic window production line of the German ROTOX company. In order to reduce the costs and shorten the waiting time for colour windows, Abakus veneers the profiles itself. In the same year, we purchased a machine for covering PVC profiles with wood-like veneer and for PVC profiles cutting. A year later, wanting to satisfy our customers’ expectation, we invested in the state-of-the-art technological line for production of windows, doors and aluminium façades.

At the beginning of 2006, we enlarged the hall by another 2,000 m² of surface and bought another window production technological line from the renowned German Rotox company. Rotox called Abakus the “reference factory” for its Rotox-Hollinger machines and equipment.

In the second quarter of this year, we started production with a second machine for veneering PVC profiles with renolit films. In October this year, Abakus will complete the realisation of still another project co-financed with the EU funds. The project’s goal is to increase the productivity of the factory through purchase of the most modern cutting centres, as well as welding and cleaning lines. At the same time, we commenced a new investment consisting of construction of two logistics and production halls.

The proximity of the Narwiański National Park forests influences the pro-ecological activity of the company. The production of windows in the Abakus factory fulfils the highest environment protection standards. We process all types of waste, such as glass, plastic, metal or packaging thus limiting the burden for the environment. The advanced, innovative production technology and the machines were purchased partly with the EU Phare and structural funds. We still continue our investments. The annual capacity of the factory amounts to 650,000 windows.

We sell our products in the entire Poland through several dozen commercial agencies. All points of sale provide warranty, post-warranty, consultancy and measurement services, as well as assembly of window and door carpentry.

Abakus daringly wins also the export markets (eastern, as well as demanding markets of Germany, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Norway).
